So, usually when you have your first child, you get EVERYTHING you need. We were very fortunate to get enough diapers and wipes to last “KickBack” until he turned about 9 months. And because I like to buy things in bulk, I shop at SAM’s Club. More bang for your buck!! Especially when the daycare goes through diapers and wipes like crazy. They change your baby every two hours. But hey, I’m not complaining. No diaper rashes, right?! Any who, “KickBack” was using these particular baby wipes for about 5 months or so!!!! 😦 Until one day “Mr. Big” posted a picture on Instagram of him and “KickBack” hanging out and one of our close friends noticed the wipes in the background. She was concerned because she had just heard about a recall on them. THANK GOD she said something. Although it “says”, it only affects babies with a weaken immune system, how the heck am I supposed to know if his immune system is weak or not!! I’m sure it isn’t fully strong like ours, he’s a baby. Right?!?! Needless to say, I threw out all the wipes and replaced them with Target’s generic brand and Huggies for daycare (from time to time). I’m not sure if this was related to the wipes, but around November/December 2014, “KickBack” was experiencing these weird breakouts on his face, then his body, and fevers that wouldn’t break. Again, not saying any of this is related to the wipes, but the doctors could never say what it was. He’s ok now.
